As a member of the property division of the British Security Industry Association we offer some of the most advanced and cost efficient methods of security available in Europe.

We’ll use our experience and expertise to create a security package tailored to you and your clients’ exact needs. Our unique, market-leading risk management service gives you the power to create the most cost effective solution using an integrated range of security solutions.

  • a ‘make safe’ service to reduce potential personal injury claims
  • a range of integrated tamper-proof alarm systems fully installed and monitored via our own 24/7 Response Centre
  • a choice of security screens for windows and doors including our high-security, low profile ‘Polymer’ screens and recyclable steel ‘Permascreens’
  • perimeter protection including fencing, bollards and signage
mobile patrols to closely monitor high risk areas
  • static guards where the risk of theft, squatting or personal injury is high
  • lone worker protection where there is a serious threat to your staff or others

This flexible approach allows us to more closely match appropriate security measures to potential threats – rather than over securing properties with costly, unsightly and often unnecessary measures.

Added peace of mind

Our own Empty Property Insurance is a market first that reduces the need to over secure properties to protect your clients from potentially huge bills for criminal damage.

Regulated by the Financial Services Authority, the insurance provides limited cover for damage to the building, replacement costs of fixtures and fittings, lost rental income and cover for adjacent properties.

This allows you to cut the cost of security, use less steel screening and rely more on cost-effective monitored alarms and mobile patrols that will make premises less of a target for antisocial behaviour.

Innovation Highlight

Orbis' Antisocial Behaviour Response Service, set up with Harvest Housing Group using our 24/7 Response Centre, has been a great success. The service operates out of normal working hours using specially trained Orbis Response Centre staff. The protocol is designed so that information collected can be used in evidence to support the application for antisocial behaviour orders, helping to make neighbourhoods safer.
